Inside the report detailing the big event that occurred at the residence of Ghanaian Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, the Economic and Organized Crime Office, EOCO, makes an interesting revelation.
According to the statement, Shatta Wale was allowed to deliver the car himself, stating that if fans saw the car taken from him by EOCO, it would be a great embarrassment to him, which would damage his brand.
The operation is linked to financial crimes committed by Nana Kwabena Amuah, who is currently serving an 86-month sentence in the U.S.
The car, believed to have been purchased with proceeds from Amuah’s crimes, was voluntarily surrendered by Shatta Wale.
He reportedly raised concerns about the public impact of the seizure on his brand.
