Large crowds gathered outside a busy airport after a security alert sparked an evacuation.
Dublin Airport’s Terminal 2 was cleared out ‘as a precaution’ on Saturday afternoon (September 20).

“Passenger and staff safety remains our top priority.
“Flights may face temporary disruption – please check with your airline.

Around 30-minutes later, an update was posted on the airport’s official X page, which read: “Dublin Airport confirms Terminal 2 has received the all-clear.
“Passengers will shortly re-enter and flights are expected to resume within 30 mins.
